INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PEACE AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION (ICPCR) 2022

Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) – in conjunction with the 77^th Anniversary of the United Nations (UN) and the 40^th Anniversary of the Founding of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) – will hold this International Conference on Peace and Conflict Resolution on 22 October 2022, bearing the theme:

“International Peace and Security: The Achievement of the United Nations and the Way Forward.”

Maintaining international peace and security have always been at the top of the agenda of the UN since its inception.

After witnessing countless incidents of armed conflicts around the world since the establishment of the UN,

it is pertinent and timely to re-evaluate, re-examine, redefine and redesign the methods of maintaining international peace and security in order to ensure much needed global security of our time.
